Pyrography fonts, in fact, used in fulfilling the artwork with text often seems so simple that we don’t feel there’s something missing from it. For sure a meaningful and relatable text can give a wood-burning project completion and perfection. But, choosing the right font is also very essential that will match the style of the project perfectly. And oftentimes, pyrographers become so confused to choose the appropriate lettering style.

  • A ball tip is enough to burn a phrase in the Londrina style.
  • An official logo, a small name tag, or just a letter on a small wooden project like a pen are the best ideas for this lettering style.
  • A darker mark seems perfect to use for this font on a lighter base wood.

Advetime

  • You can choose this particular style to make a welcoming wall decor piece, a diary cover, or any wooden project with informal phrases.
  • It’s better to choose a thin pen tip like a looped tip to burn the Advetime .
  • Make sure to sand the base wood before you start to have a smooth surface.

Cinzel

  • It is one of the most used fonts via pyrography, and is good for making logo designs and bold looking letterings.
  • You’ll need two different types of pen tips: looped tip and spear sheder.
  • Use a darker tone to fill the side bold part of each letter and use the looped tip for the thinner part.
  • Choose a lighter base like an oak wood slice.

  • This is one of the most smart and sci-fi lettering styles and that is why it is not suitable for beginners.
  • Make sure to draw a pencil outline of the letter to get the best outcome.
  • If it seems difficult, you can use a stencil or just try a pencil shade printing method for the prior outline.

Benedict

  • This lettering style is good for just any type of pyrography project though it has a rustic vibe.

  • I could make the quote in three lines, but I preferred to leave a blank space on top of the sentence. To me, void speaks louder than filled areas.
  • For the thinner lines, use the ball tips, and to fill the lines, use the spear shader tip.
  • Might be difficult for the newbies.

TC Milo

  • Looks good on bold and capital letter texts and has spikes in the middle part of each letter.
  • Comparatively easier even for beginners. A pre-made outline will be helpful too.
