  • A Burner Tool: The burner tool is the one you will need to heat the pyrography pen. 
  • Pyrography/Burner Pen: The pen is the tool that you connect to the burner tool and use for burning designs on wood.
  • Interchangeable Pen Tips/Nibs: With interchangeable tips, you can remove and change the tips for various wood burning designs.
  • Burning Wood Pieces: You obviously need wood for wood burning, such as birchwood, pinewood, and more.
  • Instruction Guide: If you are getting yourself a starter box set, it might come with an instruction guide.

Pyrography Design Transfer Set For Starters (Optional)

  • Pyrography Template/Stencils: As a beginner, you can get various design templates for wood burning.
  • Carbon/Graphite Paper: You can transform the design from the template onto the wood with graphite or carbon paper.
  • Masking Tape: The masking tape helps secure the template and carbon paper onto the wood while you trace and transfer the design.
